With the lead of STRIA, the consortium plans 4 study trips in the frame of the CIREVALC project.

The first study trip was organised by BSC Kranj in Slovenia and the main topic was catering between 19 and 21 of March 2024. The chosen destination was Bled and Radovljica for the first day. Bohinj was in the focus on the second day.

The study trip provided great opportunity to present good practices for local pioneers and stakeholders and exchange experiences. Therefore, partners were eager to bring them and involve them in the study visit. STRIA proposed Reggeli & Nappali bar, MEVID Ltd., Heroes of Responsible Dining, Four Bites Catering for the Slovenian visit.

Among others, the following good practices were presented:

  • CE FOOD CYLCE Alpine space program project
  • National green scheme for tourism and green cuisine; Slovene tourism board
  • Local gastronomy brand “Radovljica”
  • Local brand Taste Radolca
  • Radolška čokolada- production of chocolate
  • Local brand Bohinjsko
  • Inn Danica, Eco camp
  • Local brand Bohinjsko: Tourism Bohinj.

Participants were happy to learn and hear about the Slovenian good practices. The next study trip will be held in Hungary organised by STRIA in cooperation of MGFÜ.
