The educational week of the Spanish lecturers of the pilot action developed with the aim of knowledge transfer / knowledge acceptance within the framework of the Regions 4Food project took place between September 28, 2022 and October 1, 2022.
The speakers of the four-day hybrid (face-to-face and online) training were lecturers and researchers from the University of Seville, who shared their knowledge and practical experience in the following topics:
– geomatics, drones: Orly Enrique Apolo-Apolo,
– smart irrigation management: Luis Sanchez,
– robotics, 3D: Dionisio Andujar,
– precision farming and information technology: Manuel Perez (program leader professor),
– data analysis: Jorge Martinez,
– innovation challenges: Andrea Ojembarrena,
– smart monitoring: Manuel Perez.
As part of each of the above topics , Zsolt Pálmai representing the South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency also introduced the corresponding Regions 4Food good practices.
On the closing day of the training, domestic research centers, agricultural enterprises, and solution providers presented their relevant experiences in connection with the above topics. The speakers represented Szent István Capmus of the Hungarian Agricultural and Life Sciences University (MATE), the Agricultural Research Center, Eötvös Loránd University of Science, Farkas Ltd, ABZ Drón Ltd, Agrovir Ltd and Magtár Ltd.
In connection with the organization of the educational week, we would like to express our thanks to the staff of MATE, to Dr. Bernadett Kovács, Dr. Györke Diána Koponics and Szabina Zakar.
With deriving the conclusion of the educational part of the pilot action, the development of the professional recommendation for higher education begins, along with the simultaneous evaluation of the practical educational experiences. The essence of this professional recommendation is to make it possible for further Hungarian agricultural higher education institutions to launch integrated digitization and modern master’s programs, similar to the Spanish example.
