South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency Nonprofit Ltd. offers information and good practices to the agri-food industry in support of the Region4Food project.
In the spirit of this, we share the information that ICT-AGRI-FOOD, co-financed by ERA-NET, provides funding opportunities for the digitization of agriculture.
The idea of ICT-AGRI-FOOD is to bring together actors from the whole agri-food system, including advisers to primary producers (traditional and organic producers), food processors, food retailers, consumers and researchers at European level, promoting the use of efficient digital technology solutions.
As part of this, the primary goal is to adapt European research results in order to digitize the Hungarian agri-food industry.
At the same time, the “digital revolution” is expected to break down the boundaries between agriculture and food systems and create new markets.
The application of digital technologies in the food system has a huge potential to increase sustainability and efficiency in order to reduce the system’s waste emissions, thus contributing to a healthier diet.
We would therefore like to draw your attention to the resources that support these, about which you can find more information on the ICT-AGRI-FOOD website.
