On 05.05.2021, the 2nd Regional Conference of the Interreg Central Europe project HoCare2.0 was held online. STRIA South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency also participated in the meetings, which could help in the implementation of the Medtech4 Europe project, in which STRIA is a partner.
The online presentation was organised by the CTRIA Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency, partner of the Hungarian HoCare2.0 project. The event shared good practices and experiences from seven countries on how the shared value methodology can help to develop innovative products and services in the field of home care.
The conference was opened by Ferenc Weigl, Project Manager (National Healthcare Service Center ),who welcomed the participants and briefly presented the agenda. The first module started with a presentation by Ákos Szépvölgyi, Executive Director (CTRIA) entitled “HoCare 2.0 project presentation – where have we come from the start?”.
Each presenter was given 15 minutes to give a presentation. The first part covered the practical experience of pilot testing, region by region. First Italy (Chamber of Commerce of Cremona), then Poland (Malopolska Region and Podkarpackie Region), then Slovenia (BSC, Kran), followed by Germany (Carus Consilium Saxony GmbH), Hungary (CTRIA) and finally the Czech Republic (Institute of social services Prague 4).
One of the objectives of the upcoming Workshop was to present Open Innovation and Co-creation trends and best practices in the EU. Speakers included Zsuzsanna Bódi Senior Strategy Consultant (European Network of Living Labs), Ingrid Adriaensen Business Developer (LiCalab) and Márton Kis Health Innovation Expert (Semmelweis University Health Services Management Training Centre). The other was to provide insight into synergies and potential networking with other EU projects and regions. This block also included a presentation of the New Horizon 2020 VITALISE project.
The last part of the event was a guided panel discussion coordinated by moderator Ferenc Weigl.
