The South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency Nonprofit Ltd. (STRIA) has organized its first Medtech4 Europe stakeholder meeting on 22nd November 2018. 20 participants attended the meeting, which was held at the Medical School of the University of Pécs.

STRIA has introduced the Medtech4 Europe – the project, in connection with research and innovation facilities in the field of medical technologies  –  to the key regional stakeholders. At first, the colleagues from the Medical School has discussed also the good practices and the bad experiences in the region as well. Then the deputy director of STRIA has informed them about the project objectives, activities , expected results and the role they can play. STRIA has collected specific requests regarding the project’s topics.

In connection with the other currently implemented Interreg Europe project, the Regions 4Food, STRIA also held a meeting with their regional stakeholders on 29th November 2018 in Szekszárd. Regions 4Food project – REGIONS 4FOOD4.0. REGIONal Strategies 4 FOOD 4.0 Revolution –  aim is to take steps to improve efficiency the modern information and communication technologies in food sector and spreading „big data” applications.

This time, the purpose was to share the activities and the goals of the project with the stakeholders group. The group was formed by ten people, including representatives of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development, Office of Tolna County Council Department of Territorial and Rural Development, and the Tolna County Development Agency.

The two projects are implemented within the Interreg Europe Programme with the co-finance of the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian State.
